Key Educational Factors
Key educational factors for education of children with medical needs
A review of the literature on key factors in education and in educational psychology was conducted and its Kkey Educational Ffactor (KEF) were outlined and organised into a limited number of categories. Subsequently, these factors were compared with existing literature on the education of children with a medical condition. The KEF were presented and discussed at the Hospital Organisation of Pedagogies in Europe conference in Bucarest in 2014.

The LeHo WEBINARS are meant to learn about innovative tools and relevant resources for home and hospital education practitioners, stakeholders and interested parties.
12 webinars (6 national and 6 international, held in English, German, Flemish, Italian and Spanish) took place between May – December 2016. The recordings are available on the list below and on the LeHo YT channel (updated regularely).

Quality of student experience scale
The Quality of Student Experience Scale is based upon previous instruments and has three main dimensions:
1. Maintaining: refers to how the Home and Hospital Education (HHE) helps students maintain pre-illness skills/activities.
2. Improving: refers to how HHE helps students improve and grow in their learning, despite their medical conditions.
3. Overall: refers to the overall perception of the student of his/her school experience
الشبكة الدولية للتعليم داخل المنزل و المستشفى بإستخدام تكنولوجيا الأتصالات و المعلومات
على الرغم من الحقيقة المؤكدة لأهمية دور التعليم فى الوقاية من الأمراض النفسية و الإجتماعية لأمراض الأطفال و الشباب, إلا ان التلاميذ ذوى الحالات المرضية مازالوا أقل ارتباطا بالتعليم بالأضافة للمشاكل المتعلقة بالمواجهات الاجتماعية التى ينتج عنها تحصيل أكاديميى اقل.
تعد الطريقة المثلى لتحقيق نجاح تعليمى هى حضور التلاميذ بالمدارس و هى الطريقة التى تدعم الجزء المعرفى للطالب بالإضافة للمزايا الاجتماعية و التطورية.
حاليا يعانى الطلبة ذوى الحالات المرضية - التى تستدعى الإقامة بالمنزل أو المستشفى لفترات طويلة - من العزلة و عدم القدرة فى حضور دروسهم فى مدارسهم و ذلك لتلقيهم العلاج اللازم لحالتهم.
فى هذا الإطار تلعب تكنولوجيا الإتصالات و المعلومات دورا رئيسيا فى تقديم تواصل أفضل فى العمليات التعليمية أثناء غياب الطلبة ذوى الحالات المرضية.
أهداف المشروع:
- تحديد العوامل التعليمية الأساسية و الممارسات التعليمية الجيدة التى يحتاجها التلاميذ ذوى الحالات المرضية.
- إكتشاف و تصميم حلول مستندة إلى تكنولوجيا الإتصالات و المعلومات تتيح سهولة التعليم للتلاميذ الذين تضطرهم حالاتهم المرضية لتلقى العلاج بالمستشفى او المنزل
- التحقق من كيفية تأثير التكنولوجيا على منهجية و طرق التدريس فى التعليم بالمنزل و المستشفى.
علاوة على ذلك, فإن المبادرات المعتمدة على التدريس بالمنزل و المستشفى و التى تمثل طفرة تعليمية يمكن ان تطبق بفاعلية فى الحالات الطبيعية لأنها صممت لتكون مبتكرة و لتساهم فى تحسين التعليم فى السياقات الصعبة.
الشراكة الأساسية من الشركاء ذوى الخبرة فى البحث و التعليم المنزلى و المدرسى متضمنين EDEN بأعضائها ال 200, سوف يعملون بشكل وثيق مع شبكة أكبر مع أكثر من 20 شريك من المدارس الثانوية و الهيئات الحكومية للتعليم و الشبكات الأخرى ذات الصلة لتقديم مجال واسع المدى يتمثل فى تعميم إستخدام تكنولوجيا الإتصالات و المعلومات لتطوير وسائل التعليم للتلاميذ ذوى الحالات المرضية..
